Talk about a high risk of being overcome by fumes...

You could rent an air filter from a tool rental. Another things you could rent, that would also help out in that circumstance is a blower with 4" hose to port in fresh air. I don't know what air movement is going to do for your spray pattern, but you do need to be able to breath.

See if you can find a hood to put over your head that is built to have fresh air piped into it from outside. That is the only way I know of to avoid an overdose of fumes. Even if you took a welding helmet and hung a hose like Mike suggested from the chin part would be better than sucking in all those fumes. A respirator with the proper filter cartridges is the next option but they are about $60Can here. I don't know what they would cost in Mexico so that may not be a good option for you.

Luis; don't even think about using solvent based finishes without a source of fresh air, and a fume extractor.
This is an office area? What does the client do for fresh air? If they have HVAC, you'll stink up the whole building! ;)

Something like this is what I would want in a situation like that. Item Detail Not cheap, but then life isn't cheap.

Hi Luis

I've worked with decorating contractors who routinely use large diameter extraction fans fitted like these fitted with a flexible hose which is led througjh the building and out of an open door or window. they work, but you still need to wear an active carbon respirator mask if the VOC level is very high
