Very nice, John. You seem to be answering questions I've had in mind before I get a chance to ask anyone. This one is "Is that aluminum?" and "if so, did you make the blank, or find a place to buy them?". I have some ideas for aluminum belt buckles, and have been looking for some premade blanks to engrave. Thanks.

You can use something like the tandy leather blanks and carve a wood buckle then bond to the blank. That is what most of my buckle designs are based on.Thanks, Mike.
