I am not familar with that jig. My go to is the Gifkins jig....
Can you adjust in the opposite direction than shown to loosen the fit?

Th Gifkins Jig has very specic size cutters. The Katie jig may be the same.

Looks like the jig can only be adjusted to make it looser, not tighter.
The Gifkins jig come with 5 shims installed (and spares) and they can be removed or more added to adjust either way,,,

I would say that what has to be shavedoff only needs to be the thickness of 2 sheets of paper?
