I think I have 5 PC 690's, and the shop I used to work at had about 20. I've never seen a broken knob.

I have three of them and have had no problems never before with them. I searched in the web and found some fails due to the knobs. I also looked for spare knobs and the price was very high so I decided to make two out of wood.
