Laguna IQ HHC machine Y axis issues

Hello, I have a Laguna IQ HHC MCNC machine and ever so often the machine will not move in the Y position. It just sits there and tries to move but will not. I've checked the sensors, also with the machine off I can turn the guide screw by hand and the Y axis will move. I've checked for loose connections inside the control cabinet. Z and X work fine.
