Lee Valley Compact Router Table

Mine just came in yesterday!
I also ordered the bases for my Bosch Colt, and Dewalt 611.
It assembled very easily. Quality materials, as expected.
I think that I will: put a finish on the BB plywood,
incorporate dust collection on the back of the fence.
build a storage box to store the table, allen wrenches, and pivot pin.
Since I only had one DWP611, I had to get another.
How could I not!!!

I already have a setup for both trim routers to drop into a table. This way when doing
DT joints I can set up both bits at the same time and cut away!

I just love options...

Dan won't be needing his Colt any more so he'll ship his w/ the table as a consolation prize...

I put a coat of sealer on all of the bare BB surfaces.

I have 3 Mastercraft trim routers from Meynards that I picked up on sale a few years ago.
I might just have to make some bases to drop in that little jewel for those.

It was Saturday! Really good intentions of progress...
Tomorrow is another day!!

Correction***

They are Performax 1 1/4 HP trim routers, not Mastercraft.

Must have been a senior moment.

Ellery,
You had me scratching my head with the Mastercraft name and the Meynard's.
I own several Mastercraft tools and they are exclusive to Canadian Tire, not top end but OK for hobbyists.

Dan
Dan,

I made a mistake. It is the Performax routers that I purchased from Meynards, not Mastercraft.
They were $30. I have not seen them at that price since then. I picked them up because of the price.

I wanted to clarify that to everyone who may have read this post.

My apologies.

Mine are little Rocky's from MCLS,same router, they are a generic branded router.

I might add that they are interchangeable with Makita bases, I have both and have swapped out the plunge and fixed bases between the two routers.
Herb
Thank you Herb. I did not realize that. I have the MLCS Rocky combo set, as well as the Makita combo set.
