Limit switch wiring

HELP! Very new to cnc, got a small one to learn. "Attempting" to wire the limit switches which have a 3-prong end on them, however my control board has 2 sets of 2 prongs for each.
For example: x1,x2,y1,y2,z1,z2 which I have seen them labeled x+x-,y+y*,z+z- as well. But I cannot find any wires to do this.
I am using the SainSmart Genmtisu CNC Router Machine Controller Board with ABS Case for CNC 1810-PRO/3018/3018-PRO
Product Automotive lighting Circuit component Font Hardware programmer

There is quite a few members using CNC’s on the forum so hopefully they will see your post and lend a hand.
Are the limit switches you are using mechanical micro switches or are you using proximity sensor? If you are using a proximity detectors, they need to be powered, and that is what the third wire is for. The wiring is typically your +/- wires to power the sensor and the third is the signal wire.

If these are mechanical switches, which I'll assume they are given the lost cost of this machine. Your 3 prong switches have 3 prongs since they can be wired as Normally Open, or Normally Closed, so you'll only need 2 wires to go from the switch to your control board. Use a Volt/Ohm meter to see which connectors on your you want to use.

Perfect, that's what I was thinking nc/no
