I've always let Ken decorate the bedroom. Needless to say, it's woodland/nature. I don't have a problem with it, I like it, to be truthful. Anyway, I came up with the idea to have one curtain rod to resemble a riffle for hunting, one to resemble a fishing rod. Well, Ken found a couple curtain rod ends that are shot gun shells, instead. However, I could never find a bracket I liked to go with it. Over the weekend, while puroozing around that Pinterest site that leads me down so many rabbit holes, I ended up running into curtain rods and bracket ideas. There was one I kept running into, but every picture claimed it was from Amazon. (Many pictures have fake links, so I have to be mindful.) I took a chance, and found out that really was from Amazon, but no longer available, so I saved the picture, and did a Amazon knockoff pattern. Had to make modifications for the rod circumference, but it came out pretty good.

The other is the first giant flower of a slew I found I want to make. The color combo was from our daughter. The picture makes it look blue, but it's turquoise.

The last picture is the first of the projects Ken wants to do. My other yard bunnies got cut and rounded over, but still need to be painted and glued.

Gov. Half-Wit extended our quarantine today until April 30, so I have a few more weeks of projects Ken and I will be able to work on. I have a slew of patterns to make up.

Hope everyone is staying well; to my Australian friends, Ken and I wondered upon the AFL Women's Football Finals, or semi-finals today. It was cool!

That's some great work Barb. I love the flower, that's really great painting!
Your curtain rod holder almost looks like deer antlers, maybe goes with your theme...

I have those curtain rod holders, I made similar for my enclosed patio. They have the inner notch for the shears to be hung behind the curtain. I made mine too. You did a good job on them as usual.
I like the flower too, blue happens to be my favorite color.
What are those candles,or firecrackers ?

Thanks Herb. Those are battery operated tea light candles in the top. I should have turned them on when I took the picture to show how they look but didn't think about it.

Our living room is decorated in a theme I call Europeans in Africa. Modeled somewhat after the 1985 Oscar winning romance, "Out of Africa." Found lots of interesting accessories that evoked that feeling. So it's no surprise that I really like the elephant bracket.

Looks more like a rhino to me Tom.
