If no 3D Printer, I wound make the sliders of hardwood. Just send hardwood through a planer thicknesser to get 20mm for the width and then saw with table saw for 10mm thinkness,

How about cutting a 10mm thick household HDPE cutting board with your table saw or router table then sand to precise chamferred 20mm wide strips? You can also adjust the wide by cutting a split at each end plus a counter sunk screw hole to microadjust the width if required.

I am considering buying a UHMW larger piece which I can cut to size
I would prefer an aluminum alloy adjustable sliding bar, with this thread I was hopping to find someone who actually did it and who can tell me what type of bar I should buy. From what I am reading (see the link in the initial post) the channel/slot for this table is a little bit more than the standard 3/4" and I am not sure if the adjustable bar can compensate for that much

I looked at that -it is meant to be stationary not to slide along the track-
If lose then the precision is gone, there is going to be play in the knobs and at the track level

I got 2 of these Aluminum runners for Mitre slots from ebay last year
costed me only US$10 each (free shipment from Germany to Australia)
Spare 3 black plastic washers allow you to fit loose mitre track..
In attached picture top one is bottom with metal washers on both ends - for mitre track with t-slots.
Bottom in picture is top when on mitre track with 3 black replaceable washers to fit loose mitre track.

Not sure if it makes sense to buy the longer 35CAD one -a sled for the router table is usually short
The miter track for this table does not have the T slots - it is flat on the sides and at the bottom

If there are no t-slots. the shorter one should be enough.
(I got the longer ones because my mitre track is 1 meter long and has T-slots)

OH that was a piece of s..t component I am returning it
You can see how much play there is between the Allen key and the screw head
Using a larger Allen key (next one up) did not work, it did not fit in

The allen key that fits is in metric (mine measures 2.2mm to be used on a 2.5mm hex).
None of my imperial allen keys would fit.

I think the Bosch track may be a bit too wide.
One solution is to tap 2 or 3 holes at one edge and fit in some nylon SET SCREWS to fine adjust the width. This is the technique they use to fit track saws to the track.
Use some tape or some glue some plastic spacers in the mean time.
