Photos always help getting better and more responses. What issues are you having, how far have you gotten, what steppers and components are you using, etc.?
The controller is from CNC Router Parts running Nema 34 steppers. The spindle is also from CNC Router Parts which is a 220v, 2.2kw unit. I also have a "Wix HD pendant. I guess my main problem is the verbiage in the instructions and understanding what items are to be checked on or off. I am running two motors on the Y axis and not sure what is to be on or off within the "ports and pins". The machine is probably 95% done, I still need to get the 220v to the spindle, but virtually done. Since moving here from Pine, AZ I have not gotten the motors to operate and at this point, my Mach3 does not see my "ESS" as being attached. Just a number of small things. You may want to check with CNC Router Parts as the probably already have a .XML file that you can just drop into your Mach3 folder and have you up and running, If not, first you need to make sure you have the ESS_Mach3.dll file in the Plugins folder of Mach3. Then under Config > Ports and Pins > Motor Outputs you're going to enable X, Y, Z, and A axises. You also have to Set a Step Pin # and a Dir Pin #. Use the following: X = pins 2 & 3, Y = pins 4 & 5, Z = 6 & 7, A = 8 & 9 and make sure you have a Green Checkmark for each Axis. The Step Port and D1r Port will all be set to 1. For your Spindle Step Pin = 1 Dir Pin = 0. Step Port and Dir Port = 1. To run your Y & A together you go to Config > Slave Axis > Y Axis column and click on A Axis. Under your Spindle Setup you'll need to Set your Spindle (Clockwise) Output# = 1, and under Output Signals make sure Output#1 is enabled (Green Checkmark) and the Port# and Pin# are also set to 1. This should get you at least up and running. The controller is from CNC Router Parts running Nema 34 steppers. The spindle is also from CNC Router Parts which is a 220v, 2.2kw unit.
