Needing to shorten an existing cabinet as the new fridge is too tall. Any suggestions?

N/a; it'll be the doors that'll be the issue, not the cabinet box. Is there a mfg.'s name anywhere on the cabinet interiors? You may be forced to have custom doors crafted for the unit. Can you do them yourself?
The alternative might be to take the cabinet out completely and build a new box the right size with an open front; basically a display cabinet. Given my choices, I'd go for the latter.
By the way, welcome, N/A!

Hi WMMDI,
Welcome to the forum. Dan is right. There is no really easy way to solve this problem. You might be able to trim a little off the top and bottom of the doors, but if it is very much, those doors won't match the rest and will look odd. Otherwise, you would need to rebuild that section completely or redisign the opening as Dan suggested.

It all depends on how much you need to cut off and how wide the cabinet is. I was able to do it once by removing the door and after cutting down the cabinet replacing the door sideways. I was lucky because of the dimensions.
