James, I tried that earlier on but had no luck with cable ties, as the trigger is in just the wrong place, so I've wrapped duct table around it so it's permanently in the "on" position, but I've also added a Carbatec Remote START/STOP switch Carbatec Replacement Carbatec Remote NVR Power Switch for Router TablesIn that case, I would lock the switch on with a cable tie. I would prefer a variable speed router for the table use, if you want to use bigger edge profile cutters.
