Three projects complete! My wife saw a picture of a holder for the plastic Solo cups, complete with a hole for the marking pen so you can write your name on the cup. I want one of these for our bar. OK. Boy, that was easy. No trips to the lumber yard or anything. Just rip and cut, glue and nail the pieces together. I had some thin Baltic birch plywood that I used for the bottom. Routed the edges with a small roundover and flush trimmed the bottom. And I drilled a hole for the Sharpie!

Next up, two more cutting boards. One is for my son who asked if I would make one for him so he could give it to his sister for Christmas. OK. Done Deal.

And the last one. A long time fishing buddy is a guitar picker from way back so I decided to make him a cutting board in the shape of a guitar. It will be a total surprise when he gets it and I doubt if it will ever get cut on!

Walnut and Cherry for both of the boards.

I like that, Mike! Very cool. Did you just import a guitar design or did you draw that?

I did one with a guitar inlay but the shape is sort of rectangular.

I got the image off the internet. I had to stretch it a little, but it isn't too obvious.

Looks like everyone should be ecstatic! Great job. Now how great would it be if there was an electric knife you could plug into the guitar board? Just saying....

All look nice, Mike. Your fishing buddy will probably ask you to make a neck... so he can play it.

I'm glad to see you are up and running in the shop.

I like the Solo cup holder, should get lots of use around your house.

The walnut and cherry look good together on the cutting boards. I'm sure they will be well received.

I had no idea about Solo cups until I saw your post, Mike. There is an interesting history behind them.
Very nice cutting boards. Someday I'll make mines
