Hi, I am attempting to add a KREG router plate to my auxiliary router table. (I have a KREG lift in my main table). The top is (I think) an older incra top that is already cut for a plate. It is just under 1.5” thick. It has a rabbet cut already for the plate to sit in. Do I need to use a bearing bit to cut out the corners so that I can use the plate leveling kit? I think that I need to cut out the corners between the blue lines in the pictures below. Is that correct? Thank you, Gary

That looks right to me, but before you act on it wait for someone who’s used those corner pieces before.
I have a grizzly cast iron table and I can’t put a router plate into. I do have those same parts stored away for the day I build a new router table.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear in my question. The tracing on the top was their relative placement on the bottom. Thanks!
In that case, I think you have it right. Be sure to pre drill the screw holes on the bottom Not too deep. I usually use a drill bit depth stop ring to keep from drilling too deep, which can break through or leave an annoying dimple.

However, if those corner holes in your rebate line up with the corner holes in your plate, you may have to cut away the corners of the rebate to make room for the leveller screws. There is no rebate in the photo posted by Tom.

There is a rebate, but the lighting is so flat it's hard to see, particularly with my old eyes.

Hi! In kinda the same boat with regards to the levelers you're talking about in you're post and adapting them to the Incra table... and was just wondering what you ended up doing? Pictures and methods? Thanks!

Thanks! Good to be here! Well, no useful info as I just posted my question the other day. Basically I'm having a bugger of a time getting the plate on my brand new Incra (JessEm Mast-r-Lift II) to level-out to my liking(nearly perfect, but not "perfect" haha) on the brand new Incra router table as it sits on those pre-cut rabbets and corresponding levelers which, I might add, are clunky and am certain will end up stripping out and becoming useless with contant fiddling. I'm looking at either JessEm's or Kreg's levelers as a better alternative and was just wondering if removing small sections of the rabbet/rebate on the corners and sides of the Incra table and installing the levellers might be a good option. I never saw any follow-up to the original post so that's why I wondered how things ended up going for the individual who originally posted about the levelers?????????

Unless that is a glitch in the time/space continuum, the record show that you joined in 2018?
I had presumed that you may have, at least, been lurking and learning since then.

I would understand that one the levelers are set, they should not need to be fiddled with?
