Hello all, I am new here.

All, I am trying to find out if the MRP23EVS, which I am considering purchasing, has a compatible mounting system to the 1617 such that tables that are designed to accept the 1617 would also accommodate the MRP23EVS as well. Any help appreciated.

When I bought my MRP23EVS last spring, it came with both bases but the fixed base is setup for upside down mounting for a router table. I was in Rockler’s store on Woodward Ave in Detroit so I had them open it up and we tried on their router plate I was buying at the same time. At the time they only had a older series Bosch plate in stock which did not allow for the height adjustment wrench through the bottom but all the plate mounting holes lined up fine so I bought it and simply drilled an additional hole for the height adjustment wrench. It’s all been working great.

The 1617 fixed base (1160) has the same screw hole pattern as the 23 but a different screw size! So the holes in the 23 plates are smaller.
4M's on the 23, 10-24's on the 1100. Plunger is a different story.
So, I guess that plates drilled for the 1617 will not work with the 23.

Amazing how little support there is for the 23 out of the box.
