Hi there, I'm new to the forum and the CNC Router world. I'm having trouble getting any information on what air compressor I can get by with for this machine. It seems like the scfm numbers are so high. I was wondering if I could get by with maybe a 30 gallon Husky or something with about 6 scfm @ 90 psi???
Any input would help me out.
Thanks!!
the manufacturer should have the air specs required for the machine. i am not familiar with the typical needs of a plasma cutter. but, whatver the mfr recommends is what you need to consider.
you are right, there is going to be a pressure and flow rating that you need to meet or exceed. personally, i would exceed it some.
