I know someone looked for this a couple of years ago. I recently got one from an old friend. It's in very good shape but a bit rusty. The pulley nearest the blade lift wheel side seems very loose on the shaft, and has the brass insert only on one side - about half the pulley. This does not look right to me. The other potential problem is that it has only one belt which will only run in the inside groove on the motor pulley and outside groove on the saw shaft pulley. It looks like if was designed for 2 belts. I presume this is just a motor alignment problem, but would be delighted if anyone out there has a copy of a manual or any advice

All I was able to find was this old thread: https://www.routerforums.com/tools-woodworking/37643-multico-a1-does-anyone-have-manual.html The brass insert may have cracked and half fallen out. If it's a drive pulley then I'm not sure why it had an insert and definitely not sure why it would be brass. How many belts depends on how much power. In Imperial measure, saws with about 2 hp or less usually use just one. Larger saws may have more than one. It's possible it may have used 2 belts if the pulleys are small compared to the torque put on them. The pulley on the saw arbor is as small as makers can get away with because the diameter of the pulley affects how high the blade will lift before that pulley hits the bottom of the table.
