This is my attempt at an entertainment center. Materials were 3/4 oak plywood. I rip oak stock for trim on the plywood. Used glue and masking tape, really amazed how good it bonded. I need lots pratice on staining wood putty. All sanding was done by hand. I plan to make two drawers between the top speakers. I Decided to box the surround speakers in and was quite surprise with the sound. It also weighs a ton.

Very good Berry, that looks to be a sizeable project especially for hand sanding. What did you use for the finish?

I used (Min-wax Brand) Clasic Oak 2 in 1 stain & sealer Satin finish. Applied by foam brush. On my next project I used seperate stain & sealer and found that I like using the seperate better than the 2 in 1.
