WOW, that is nice Bj, I envy you. Had I been into woodworking when I bought this house I would have shopped smarter. Perfect set up. I now see what you were talking about the back room for storage as well. Pretty cool. Lots of room. Just taking a break while the floor guy is here making his template for tomorrow :)

Thanks Corey

When I got this house it didn't have the garage in the back and that was one of the 1st. things I did,,,I built the shop, then a ran out of room so I did a small add on now I wish I made it just a bit bigger,I took out a windows and some of the wall for the door way and made it 8ft x 20ft and it got filled up real quick with STUFF :) the other garage on the house the BOSS owns :) but I'm starting to put stuff in it like the Bike,Snow Blower,Tracker,Lawn Mower, etc. and my sons junk :) that he will not take to his house :) :) I thinks it's called free storage at dad's :)

Don't work to hard on the kitchen bud

Very nice Bob, thank you...

In some ways, it reminds of Niki's garage... the way he efficiently puts everything away close to the walls to allow for space in the center.

What kind of TS is that on the rolling cabinet? Looks rugged.

Oh, how did you get your dog to always pose with its head always pointing in the same direction? :) (seemed like it anyway).

I also see that you are cramped a little here & there... I'm more cramped here & here & here...

Bj, that's no shop - it's an aircraft hangar compared to my wee place! Guess you need the vicious looking hound to protect the tools ;)

Good Gosh Bj..... you got a few tools don't ya? I am still looking around to see if I can steal any of your ideas :D Got jigs hanging on every wall just like you said and mine is starting to look the same way. That HF BS sure looks familiar. How do you like it? Mine has done extremelty well.

All I can say is that I am jealeous of all that space packed with neat stuff  Nice landscaping all around also. I sure hope that's not kudzu taking over that building ;)

kudzu= One is a Ivy and one is something I don't know what it is, it's green all year around like a pine tree vine and very slow growing ,that plant is about 25 years old and just in the pass year it got big and took over some of that wall with the ivy on it..

Bob, speaking of the HF BS (Harbor Freight Band Saw). What kind of table and fence assembly are you using? Maybe if you have time ? and can move some of your many tools out of the way. Would you post some pics of the table and fence PLEASE. I would appreciate it.

Hi Dave

Will do,, the top is some 3/4" MDF and the 6" tall fence is the same,,
It's about 4" bigger than the steel base plate, with slots for the miter and the circle pin jig that I use from time from time..to cut big circles out..

Note***I should have made it just a bit bigger..:) all the way to the upriser and 4" over hang all the way around...you may want to do that...

What took so long ??????????????????????????????

Darn Bob, what took so long to get the pictures I asked for???????????? :(
Thanks Bob for the pictures. I wanted to know how you mounted the table and fence. I like how you did it. :D Nice job. Question: how do you keep the center pins from moving when you cut circles?

Hi Dave
You'er welcome

Center pins are Allen set screws, the long one is just screwed down with a allen hex key the cone point one is just hand tighten down in place and will stay in place ,the Hvy,duty one as a place for a short Allen set screw on one end that's is screwed down once you have it set in the right place in the add on board. ( the add on board I use is 4 ft long with a tee slot running all the way down the center..)

NOte on the set screw, I use 5/16-18 set screws and then ground them down to 1/4" OD but not all the way they need to screw into the sq.nuts.. :)

I used a battery power drill to grind them down,it's quick and easy to do..just pickup a rod coupling nut (5/16-18) , put in a set screw in one end and put the center pin set screw in the other end and lock it in place then just chuck up the coupling nut and do a bit of grinding to remove the threads...down to 1/4" shank size.

===========

The black banding strap in the tee slot will help,it's very thin and very strong and you can find tons of it in trash cans.. :) (Don't use the plastic type,it will crack the 1st time you use it ) but you will need find the narrow banding or you will need to cut it down to size, it's needed in the slot because you need to band saw a slot in the new base board to get the board in place and slide by/pass the blade..

The only RAY gun I have is the Low Tech one below, but it's also a High Tech broom , it makes small things disappear out the garage door :)
