I have NOT remove the springs from a King Canada plunge router BUT many routers come with a parts break down in the user guide manual, you can use that to help you remove the roll pins the norm or lock nut to remove the springs.
here's a show and tell for some of them but it will not show the King Canada but many of the routers are made the same way.
