What Stick said. The Bosch 1619EVS is a plunge base, BUT it has the ability to lock out the column springs allowing for it to be used as a table router without having to disassemble anything (phenolic base aside; that you might want to remove so you can install a table insert plate.)
Warning: the 1619 base is much bigger than the 1617 base...7 1/2" as opposed to 6" if I remember correctly. At the moment my 1619 is the only plunge router I own. I'm still waiting for my 1617 plunge base to arrive...I didn't buy the 1617 EVSPK package, and am literally paying for it. Big mistake on my part. :(

* I should have added that the Bosch edge guide fits both routers.

"The Triton has a built in dust port for connecting a hose. For the Bosch, a separate accessory is available that connects to the router base."
-Mike

Both of my Boschs came with the dust collection 'accessories' included with the routers. Separate package in the packing boxes.
