Hello everyone. I always wanted a router but was afraid it would be a wasted investment for me. Then a local retiring joiner sold off his tools and I bought a second hand Bosch POF52. No instructions so now looking at it. Good condition but now need to find out more about it. Some may think I am a bit bonkers but there are times you just need to go for it.

Regards

John

Welcome to the forum, John!

We like photos so show us your tools as you get them, your shop, projects, etc. whenever you're ready. If you have questions, and you will, just ask away!

Hi John and welcome. There are quite a few videos on youtube that can be helpful and this forum has quite a few subforums on specific subjects regarding woodworking which can be found on the home page. We also have a Community Search function for looking stuff up on. And there`s always someone on who can help with questions about jobs you are interested in doing. The router is the most versatile woodworking tool in your kit.
Welcome to the forum John, and thank you for filling in your profile
Hi John, welcome to the party. Take some time to read the pdf collection at Stick's link. They are as good as a book on the topic and really stress safety. We love questions on the Forum and you will often get two or three solutions to anything you ask about.
G'day John, welcome to the forum.
Welcome to the forum John.
The April/May issue of Woodcraft Magazine has an excellent article on router care and maintenance that should be read. Shows how to do basic repairs and regular maintenance.
