I got an email from Woodpecker this mourning and they have a new clamp aid that I think might work well. For me, glueup is always a pain and this might help make it easier. I know, Americans are always looking for an easy way out. :wink: I am not saying I am going to buy it but it looks interesting.

Andy, I just bored a bunch of 1" holes down the center of an 8' tubafor then ripped it. Walla...4 ea. 4' clamp stands.

So, Gene, hoe did you find a 2x4 straight enough to rip? :surprise: :laugh2:

Just a concept drawing. I have some scrap 3/4 inch plywood I can use. I might even add a foot on the rear to help stabilize the board while gluing up a project. This is a 24 inch model 3 inches tall. That should take care of most of my glue ups for things like cutting boards or panels for the CNC.

Oh yeah, the cradles are 1 inch dia (for 1/2 inch pipe), and the slots are for Bessey clamps that I have.

I added a couple of holes so I can hang them on the wall from either end.

Are you going to paint them red? :wink:
