Here is my take on a dust collection system.

Also in this picture, a brand new shop vac, a Joplin wood vice and some 3 way remote switches (unopened)
Hi all, sorry about the mess. When trying to cover all the tools & bits & pieces on the bench behind the shopvac etc.,I've made it look worse.Anyway the cyclone funcions perfectly.I will get son Ian to post more pics when the vacuum setup is permanently positioned. The Hf dusty was much to big for my garage shop so I sold it & bought this new Scheppach model. It is not really a cyclone, more of a dust separator. I had one years ago that WoodCraft sold for a garbage can hooked to my Dewalt 735 planer. It worked good, my only objections was the noise and it filled up fast, but the shopvac filter was easier to clean. On a table saw it would probable take longer to fill. Great solution for a small space.
