Lots of 618 users love them. I think they are terrific for hand held use. I prefer a Bosch 1617 for table use, but the DeWalt is more compact and easier to manage freehand.
But I've read a lot of comments about it not being great for table use. But I guess if you do dust collection and clean it out after table use, it should be OK.
