I haven't had a woodworking class since 1957 in high school. After my Navy career I began a second career which is coming to an end soon. My wife and I moved to Florida three years ago and Norm has convinced me to begin woodworking as a new hobby.
I have recently completed my building out back, 16x24, which is where I have begun to accumulate tools, etc. Still a work in progress. I was quite proud of my little shop when it survived Hurricane Ivan in Sept.
I hope I can become at least an advanced amateaur woodworker, but most of all I want to enjoy it, with no pressures or deadlines to finish anything other than those that are self imposed. I want it to be fun.
Merry Christmas and happy and prosperous New Year to all.
