Hello everyone.

I just recently discovered this site and I have enjoyed visiting it. The members all seem very knowlegable and willing to help us guys that are not as skilled as they.

I have been interested in woodworking for more years than I like to remember, but due to circumstances I have not been too active the last several years. I am approaching retirement age, and my plans are to again pick up the hobby. I am in the process of setting my woodshop backup. I have a tablesaw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, and radial arm saw. I have been collecting these for a long time thus, some of these tools are fairly new while some are old. I just recently installed a Delta dust system. I also have an older craftsman plunge router that I have mounted in a home made table. Other than doing some round over and and edge moulding, I have not used it very much and am not very proficient. I hope to become so. I am interested in learning to make small boxes, jewelry boxes, and humidors.

Well, I am starting to run off at the mouth, so I will close for now. Look forward to being a member of the forum.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I look forward to tapping you knowledge and experience.
I want to make a jewelry box for my granddaughter' Birthday in April. So I am sure I will be asking a lot of questions. Especially on how to get those little hinges just right.

Tom, I will check out you projects on You Tube.
