Just a hello to all from a new member.
I am a Tennessee Girl, who Loves Woodworking, and piddles in the shop a lot.
When I am not at work (a necessity I'm afraid), you can generally find me in my woodshop.
I enjoy making small things, like doll cradles, childrens chairs, stools, etc.
Still trying to learn different things.
I have a fairly well equipped shop. I have a nice Ridgid 10" Table Saw,
Band Saw, Lathe, planer, jointer, drillpress, many hand sanders, and hand tools, and 3 routers. 1 skill ( old one ), and 2 Hitachi. One of which has the plunge attachment, and one is mounted in a Bosch router table.
My workbench is hand built, by my Son and I. I have a 5' square butcher block style top, ( made by us) sitting on top of a 4' square bottom with drawers and doors built into it for storage.
I am looking foward to retirement in a few years, and that is one of the reasons for the shop. I hate to sit around doing nothing.
This and my computer will give me all I need to spend my retirement time doing something I Love to do.
So, Once again, Hello to everybody.
Susan Renee Grant
