I found this Forum looking for replacement parts for a 1993 Craftsman Planer I am rebuilding.
I am a retired mechanical engineer and love to repair/rebuild old toools. I hate to toss them into the landfill when often it doesn't take that much effort to rebuild it. My brother gave me his old Craftsman wood planer and i could easily go but a new DeWalt but I do want to rebuild it since all it needs is a need bearing on the drive roller. I have created a CAD model and am looking into have a new bearing made by a 3D printing service. The metal parts are too expensive so I will use a DU sleeve bearing in a ABS plastic housing.
