Some time ago, actually several times, I have posted the digital files for printing the IPM-1 strips. They print out on 8 1/2 X 11 quality photo paper with a photo quality inkjet printer the best. There are 4 different files, and contain every strip that Jointech made for the IPM-1 in color. You then need a good guillotine type paper cutter to separate them. I never had a manual, but do have these files somewhere. If they can't be found doing a search on this site, let me know and I'll try to find and post them again. I'm a bit rushed at the moment, so it may be a few days.

Back when I bought my IPM-1, the president of Jointech was doing the demonstrations at the woodworking show and he had sold every one that he had brought to the show. I ordered mine from him and received it 2 weeks later. I got Serial # 00251. At the time there was no manual or Youtube instructions, only his demonstration to go by. He said that they had brought 20 IPM-1 units with him and that they were all gone in the first hours of the show, and that the factory was building them as fast as they could and he would send one to me within 2 weeks post paid if I ordered one from him that day. I guess that they hadn't expected the IPM-1 or 2 to be as popular as they were.

I still have my IPM-1 and use it frequently on my router table. I didn't buy the IPM-2 because I had no intention to use it on my table saw Some time before Jointech went out of business, I had called CS to see if I could buy the additional strips that had been designed and released after I had purchased my IPM-1. The guy said that they no longer stocked the strips or the manual, but that he would send me the files so I could print my own strips. This is how I ended up with those files. I'm still looking for a copy of the manual too, but no longer looking very hard for it. Please remember me if you should find a copy.

The IPM-1 makes a very accurate and easy to set fence positioner for a router table fence, but I later got into doing some larger projects and ended up buying the Leigh D4R for dovetails because I could make them much faster with less chance for error. The IPM-1 does a great job of getting accurate router fence positions though. It was just too slow for big dovetail jobs.
