I am Mike, a woodwork teacher for the last 40 years. Just building another router table to incorporate a Jessem Router Raiser and an Ultra Incra jig, both of which I bought a few years ago. I build furniture and electric and acoustic guitars and basses. I enjoy woodturning and all craft aspects. I have always been a cyclist and have been a county level recurve archer for the last 4 years, and am building a couple of laminated longbows.

Hey Mike welcome to the forum, good to have you with us.
I too enjoy bows the wife has a compound and I have a full working recurve, but neither of us are big wheels we leave the cycling to some one else.

I live and work in Altrincham, Cheshire, U.K. I have been working at the local Grammar school for the last 36 years. Before that I was in London after leaving Shoredith College of Handicraft and Education, Surrey. I love designing and building jigs, as well as making all types of things. The latest being my Archery Trolley and equipment box/seat Discovering the router some 25 years ago gave so much more to woodworking. What a useful tool. My least favorite tool is a hand held Elu electric saw. I enjoy using Buiscuit jointers. CAD CAM is a great tool at times when it goes well.

Greetings Mike and welcome to the forum. I used to cycle when I lived in Katy Texas. I enjoyed it until people started throwing things at me!! I guess they couldn't stand getting home one minute late because of me--Oh Well. A friend and I would put in 4000-6000 miles a year. I sure wasn't fat then!! My bike was a Romec custom triathlons using 531 tubing. This was back in 1990 so that was a popular tubing to use.
