Hi All, I am a new U.K. member just starting out as a new splinter gatherer,
Can anybody advise on cheep or bargain routers, availabl in UK, prefairably one that can be adapted to fit homemade router table, with a view to fit screwed rod type homemade lifter, This is going to be my first project. All pointers apreciated.

Many moons ago, my regular lumber yard had this sign posted over the sales counter...
"Quality is like buying oats - if you want nice clean fresh oats you must pay a fair price.
However!! -- if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse-- that comes a little cheaper. "

(Nothing wrong with looking for value for your hard earned buck; just don't expect to find acceptable quality along with el cheapo pricing. )
