Greetings everyone. Have just joined finally after borrowing solutions for quite a while. Been into hobby woodworking many years and have always had a couple routers among my tools. Never spent that much time learning how to really use the router and take advantage of the versatility it offers. Gotta watch myself as I get caught up in reading the forum and not woodworking but sure learn a lot.
Look forward to expanding my router and woodworking skills.

welcome to the group.
at times it can a quite forum.
Hi Howard, nice to have you posting. What kinds of projects interest you?
Have enjoyed a variety over the years with furniture, renovations/repair, refinishing, etc. Specifically with routing I am exploring bowls and bowl related shapes using templates as well as inlay projects. Most recently using inlays to make clocks for family members. After all these years decided to try to learn more about my routers.

Nice variety of project. Inlay is pretty nifty. A few years ago I bought this router plane with the inlay attachment. Really nice for making vines, but can be used for almost any shape. I've used it mosty to flatten the bottoms of grooves and even rabbets. Beautiful tool, isn't it.
