so fix your arbor...Good luck! My experience with Freud blades hasn't been exactly stellar.
Thanks Stick - I'll give it a month try and report back on how it performs for me.
Wasn't me. No arbor play, here. And, my Freud dado blade set performs flawlessly. My gripe with Freud's saw blades has to do with the quality of the cuts. My Tenryu blades produce far better cuts. No tear outs on cross cuts and, the rips are glue ready. Freud's "Glue Line Rip" just ain't. Tenryus aren't cheap but, you do get what you pay for.so fix your arbor...
you have said more than once it had play in it and it was really pronounced w/ a dado blade...
you are the rare one that has had issue w/ Freud blades...
I’ve seen some variation with my Freud glue line blade in the past too but think the way I feed the stock on the table saw matters too. I’ve got nice wood guides (one i made, one i bought) now that seem to give me better results. I also true up the blade to an accurate 90 degrees frequently to avoid issues later.Wasn't me.
