Hi there,

Im an Australian University Student. Im trying to offset my poorly student income by selling the things that emerge from the tinkering in my shed.

I am trading my bike for a Bosch POF 500a. All I wanted was to get the going rate and a manual for it. But I think Ill end up with so much more as a member of this site.

Anyone got advice on picture frames. I have lots of spoted gum offcuts I want to work with.

James carbi-tool has some very nice face moulding cutters that are quite suitable to use for picture frame mouldings, you will also need a small saw table to square it up and a small thicknesser to dress it before you run it as mouldings, you will need a small router table as the mouldings will run better that way, and you will need a good miter saw to cut the 45 deg cuts, and a shooting block to shoot the joins at 45 degs before you do the glue up because if you don't shoot the joins then you will not get a good joint, spotted gum should be fine to use a picture frames, hand made frames, Australian Hardwood, they should sell OK but you will have to make and sell a few of them to pay for your set up costs.
