Hi Shannon. Welcome to the forum. You need to look at the requirements of the tools you have and plan accordingly. All tools require some room for infeed and outfeed, some require a lot of room like a table saw. If you'll need to rip panels on a table saw you need over 8' on either side of the saw. Will some or all of the tools be stationary or will you wheel them into place so that you have the room to use them? Then there is dust collection. If the tools are stationary then the dust collector can be too, otherwise it has to follow the tools around. Once all that is settled you need to plan wiring and lighting. All of my tools are stationary so I installed my light fixtures in front of where I would be working so as not to cast shadows. There are lots of options and possibilities. Start at square one and work your way through each step.
