Hi to all, I am Kris a retired man from Spokane Wa. I enjoy all phases of woodworking and at the present in am mostly involved in scrollsawing. I have made several pieces of furniture for my wife and I. My other interests are spending time with my wife Mary, fishing for Perch, Walleye and Crappie, vegie gardening. I do volenteer work with the boy scouts in the wood working area, they learn about tools and enjoy being part of making a wood project for themselfs.
I look forward in checking out your site and certainly should learn from all of you.

Welcome Kris. I like that you're into fishing as well as woodworking. I've heard of perch, walleye and vegies but being from the oher side of the world I've not heard of 'crappie' (not in a fish sense anyway). What are they?
