the router can easily be turned into a table mounted router. The simplest way to do it is to pick up a router table insert plate from Oak-park.com, woodcraft.com, pricecutter.com, or the like. A lot of these places have plates pre drilled for most routers, or you can buy a blank plate and drill your own. You'll then need to insert your plate into a table top, a pretty simple operation as well, or you could go all out and buy a table top/ plate combo.
