Roller stands deffinatly help feeding sheet goods or extra long items through a table saw whenyou are alone.

Have had one for years. Marked the height for using it on table saw and sliding compound miter saw and marked the location of the base for each tool. It can also be used on a short workbench to support long pieces. There is also a model with multiple ball bearings on a wider surface, but I prefer the single roller type.
