New with routers, mostly "rough" woodworking practices - issues with Triton router

Used small router for just edging in the past. Picked up a TRA001 Triton router to put in router table. It has a plunge selection button on side knob/handle that I pushed in and cant get to spring back keeping knob disengaged from adjusting height. Wondering if anyone is familiar with this router and possibly this issue. locked or unlocked this adjuster and micro adjuster aren't changing the height at all. when I turn micro adjuster the knob (main adjuster) turns also but no height reaction at all. I haven't even turned this on yet. I can call Rockler on Monday- just had my heart on getting this going this weekend. Appreciate any imput- Thanks, Chuck N

Push the button in further, until it clicks and then release it. The button should pop back out. Then pull the orange ring that is on the outside of the knob and turn the knob it should now work.

Thanks Bob ! That did the trick- I was getting over anxious thinking I had bought a machine with a problem. Thanks so much for quick response !!!

Welcome. I also have and love the Triton. Heck of a machine.
Bob told you right. I smiled when I read your post because I had the same issue with it as well. It was during the week and I called Rockler. The triton is a beast compared to the smaller routers I have used in the past.
