Which part of Missouri do you hale from?

Newbie update

I hale from the SW part of the state of Missouri, Carthage. Which is just north of Joplin.
I retired to this little community about 3 years ago as when we lived here before it was warm and pleasant. Since we have been here Ice storms, blizzards, 100 degree summers. I think the Chamber of Commerce may ask us to move.
I do like to diddle with wood working in my "shop" when it is warm enough. Love to make cutting boards and cheese boards both straight grained and end laid. I does keep me busy but have trouble getting rid of all my output. Relatives and friends say "another one'? Oh well I'm enjoying myself and get out the better halfs way.:laugh:
