greetings all, very new to the concept of routing so looking for advice on a project i been tasked with, need to find a way to make a few dozen poker chip trays to replace broken plastic ones with timber ones, i'll pop a couple of pix on to give a rough idea but don't have dimensions yet, bearing in mind the only routing i have done are rounding over edges and slots for kitchen worktops any advice would be appreciated :))

Welcome to the forum Kevin. Harry Sinclair covers making something very similar in his group of tutorials here: http://www.routerforums.com/guide-bushings-templates/55273-routing-tutorials.html
You'll be doing what Stick suggested but Harry covers it in great detail and with captioned photos of the process.
