Newbie to woodworking

Hi everyone I am from Indiana and pretty new to woodworking. I am retired and I like to do some woodworking in my spare time. I have built bird feeders, bird houses and some planters so far. Enjoy bass fishing and most sports. Just starting to use a router and need to learn a lot about them.

Let me be the first to welcome you to the Router Forums midwest. I just got back from Indy. Great place Indiana. Love to welcome retirees, cause I to are one. You say you have built bird houses? Have you ever built one 9 feet tall, 8 feet wide, 200 rooms, veranda all the way around, with a spiral staircase in side leading to the whirlpool?????? Welcome and you have found the right place to learn about routers for sure. Be sure to check out those bird houses Dr Zook pointed you to..... they are mind boggling to say the least.
