No After Christmas Sales?

What has happened to the world?

I am searching all day for any "After Christmas Sales" and there is ... NOTHING. I would think that companies that want to sell off last year's models of CNC machines, ironworkers, welders, lathes, drill presses, saws, sanders etc. etc. would be BEGGING people to come and buy them before the end of the year. But I haven't seen anything that even motivates me to leave the house to go LOOK.

I didn't see anything toll wise I was looking for on sale but Lowe's got me for a new Range and Dryer :smile:

The merchants made more then enough on Online sales,that they either do not have the inventory or they were able to gouge enough customers for profit margins.

Don't know if it's the same in the US but up here the 'sales' from different dealers are all the same! I was looking for a camera lens... the Boxing Day prices - identical at all vendors. Seems that there's no competition any more. I noticed the same with home theater receivers. I'm guessing that the manufactures are controlling the sale prices, or all the stores share the same owners.
