Very nice. Great looking gifts for some lucky folks.
Been still plugging away at the usual stuff not knowing if there will be any Polish Festivals this summer or not. Not hitting it very hard, but a couple a day. Then if I got to - hit it hard if things are a go. Guess I work better under pressure.
Haven't been "practicing" the painting thing lately. It's very intimidating. From what I've heard, Scott's been active on Facebook and playing full time with his new rotary. I gotta get on that Facebook thing too -- but ........ ugh.Stock pile those Eagles... maybe next year will bring in good fortune.
Gonna have a bunch of them!!
How is your painting doing HJ? Speaking of Scott, he hasn't been around in a while no?
Thje detail is actually quite good. I used a 1/8" ball nose. For some reason the light on the poly made the pics look like this. No matter how hard i tried i couldn't get the glare down enuff to show all the detail. My picture taking is like my painting ---- needs improvement.Looks good, John. I haven't even carved that file yet. I think you are missing a lot of detail though, try using a smaller ballnose on the finish pass. Yes, I know it takes longer, but it really makes the carve better...
