I inherited a Craftsman planer 351.217130 and would like to know if there is a current model of any planer that parts could be interchanged with. Principally the feed rollers. One of the lift gears was missing and I found some steel Dewalt gears that I made work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Weren't craftsman tools usually made by other manufacturers? This might give other leads to parts...

I'm pretty sure they were and are but I don't remember by who.

I did find a similar list. It shows that the 351 prefix was made by Colovos Co. Now it looks like all they make is clothing.

Doubt this will help but here is the link to the manual Link here . Seems like you are mechanically inclined with making the dewalt parts work maybe you can make some rollers work.

And when I had the rollers out to clean the machine, I didn't think to take exact specs. Plus most other parts listings don't show the specs.
