I'm building a Humidor and want to round over all 8 edges. My question is should I do the top first and then the corners or do the corners first?

Corners first. It's the law.

Do the grain that will rip out first then clean up the ripped out part with the pass going with the grain.

Generally; To prevent tear out, try to take incremental cuts to sneak up on the final depth, routing the end grain first, and if possible use a backer board at the end of the cut. Route counterclockwise if hand routing, or from left to right if using a router table.

As stated, end grain first followed with the grain, using this method I've never had breakout.

Turned out very beautiful, how did you indent under the cover and what kind of wood is it made of.

I'm assuming that you meant the ring box, if so here is a pdf showing how I made it.

Wouldn't be surprised if you've had a few requests for similar boxes since the wedding Harry. It is absolutely beautiful.
Great work and advice Harry
