I've read several post re the inability to abtain a connection to fit the th system - my wet and dry vac hose fits perfectly on the 2 1/4 dia- my problem is finding something that fits the 2 1/8 dia. - I've seen several pictures of a tube extending downward with an elbow and a connection at the end what are they using?

Angus, PVC pipe is easy to work with. You can split it on one side with a band saw (or even a hack saw) and remove about a 1/4" wide strip and glue it back together. Now your 2-1/8" should fit and the 2-1/4" should still crimp down onto it. I will ask Rick to explain how they did it for their table. Look for his reply soon.
I just cut a piece of spare shop vac hose so that protrudes from the table. The bandsaw is close so I just move the connection from saw to the table when I need it. I added a 2 and 1/4 inch sleeve so the change over is quick and painless.

I've given thought to routing the hose through the back of the table, seemed to be more trouble than it's worth. The hose from the table only extends a couple of inches from the table and stuffs inside out of the way when not in use.
