Hi all! First time on this forum. Glad I found it!

I have an 80+ year old dairy barn with the classic 1X6 T&G drop siding, profile #106. I have purchased these boards in the past, but they are PRICEY!! Like $1.50-$2.00 per foot. I know and am comfortable with duplicating this profile on standard 1X6 pine boards, as I have a Bosch router and table. Not doing the entire barn; just replacing all the bad ones. I need help with finding the correct bit(s). Any help much appreciated!

G'day @Moegs , welcome to the forum.
I do not know that profile. Is it a standard profile that you could illustrate?

Lots of choices. Here is a site with a lot of brands listed. 10 Best Tongue And Groove Router Bits

You definitely want a half inch shank. Don't know if you have the resources to do this, but you could use fairly clear 2x6 pine and use a table saw to resaw it into 7/16ths stock. That would be pretty cheap way to go. Better still if you have a band saw capable of resawing. Pine is pretty cheap stuff, hardwood isn't. Don't toss that old stuff away, sometime you can resurface it and make beautiful projects out of it, if it isn't too warped.
