Hello everyone!
I've been very bussy the last four month and I haven't much visited here but I started to think since many of you have showed your work tables and work benches both stationary and mobile that I would show my old ones I used before I got my shop ready. Many of you have used tens or even hundred of hours to plan and make ready your own table. When I made my I tables I made them for a special need with minimum thinking time and from lousy timber. They have earned theyr place and completed theyr duty nonchalantly and despite of theyr appearance they are still going strong.
I think that We Europeans and specialy Finns are quite stiff in how ww tools look like and how they are being used. When a boy or girl graduate from a woodworking school he or she knows that they need a 6kW HD table saw like Altendorf or similar to rip or crosscut 2x6". Its crazy.
I have learned a lot from you! Maby the best thing I've learned is to hang a small 10" ts in the end of a table and voilà! you have an as good ts as an Altendorf or even better, it's cheaper, lighter and more cleaver in every way!
I think I owe to the old tables. I'm gonna make two new that will serve mw even better than these three.
The only criteria have been sturdyness and perfect size for me. They have been very multifunktional but ugly. See for your self!
